The Gym
Going to the gym might feel like the chore to some people. You might wake up in the morning and go "ugh I really should go to the gym... buuuuuttt I wont." For me, the gym is like a release something that helps me get through day to day. I have had those slumps where I just don't want to go and I end up not working out for months at a time, then something in me just feels the need to go to the gym and workout and once I get started doing that again I can't stop. Right now I go to the gym 6 days a week usually around 6:30AM. I wake up feeling more energized and I get my day started earlier, although it might seem horrible to get up that early when you get your body used to it its actually so easy! You feel good coming home knowing you have gotten more done before 8:30 than some people get done in the whole day. It also makes it a lot easier to fall asleep at night which is a plus ! Although you have so much going on with school and work it seems like the gym helps you deal with all that stress, its an hour and half that you have to yourself with nothing weighing you down and just doing what you want to do and in the end it makes your mind stronger and your body. Living a healthy lifestyle can help you in many ways, time management skills can be worked on because you have to find time to go to the gym in between whatever else you have going on. You feel mentally stable if you might not feel that way day to day before, you also feel energized which makes it easier to get work done that might have been weighing you down before. If I didn't have the gym I think this school year would have driven me insane by now, I am fully great full that I have this body that helps me work out and get things done everyday.
